Seating 200 guests shouldn't take a week of your life

Most couples manage seating in a spreadsheet. It breaks the moment anyone moves or declines.

😩

The old way

  • Giant spreadsheet with 12 tabs
  • Last-minute changes break everything
  • Planner edits, partner edits — conflicts
  • Printing the final list at midnight

With SeatMap

  • Visual map of your actual venue layout
  • Drag guests to tables in seconds
  • Everyone sees the same plan, always
  • Export a clean CSV for the venue any time

Everything you need, nothing you don't

Built to handle real weddings — from intimate 40-person dinners to 300-guest celebrations.

🗺️

Real weddings, real results

Hear from couples who survived the seating chart.

★★★★★

"We had 180 guests across two families who had never met. Rearranging tables on the fly during RSVP season would have been impossible in Excel. SeatMap made it actually enjoyable."

★★★★★

"My planner and I were updating the chart at the same time from different cities. No conflicts, no 'which version is this?' — just one shared, always-up-to-date plan."

Destination wedding, 220 guests
★★★★★

"Three weeks before the wedding, 40 people changed their RSVP. I updated the seating in 20 minutes. With our old spreadsheet that would have been a full evening of work."

Common questions

Everything you need to know before you start planning.

Is my guest list private and safe?
Completely. Your guest list is protected behind your own password over a secure connection, so only the people you invite can ever see your plan. We'll never share or sell your information — it belongs to you.
Can I plan together with my wedding planner?
Absolutely. Just share your login with anyone who needs it — your partner, your planner, a parent. Everyone always sees the latest plan, and changes appear for the whole group right away. If two people happen to edit the very same thing at the exact same moment, the most recent change is the one that sticks.
What does "75 guests" mean on the free plan?
You can add up to 75 guests on the free plan. If you need room for more, upgrading to Pro lifts the limit entirely — and your guest list is never deleted when you upgrade or change plans.
How do I bring in my guest list from a spreadsheet?
Your spreadsheet just needs three columns — fullName, side, and rsvpStatus — plus an optional notes column. Anything extra is simply ignored. Export from Google Sheets, Excel, or any spreadsheet tool and import it straight in; we handle the rest.
Can I change my venue layout or add more tables?
Custom venue layouts (uploading your own floor plan, repositioning tables) is a Pro feature on the roadmap. Currently the app comes with a fixed 25-table layout that matches a standard banquet hall. Pro subscribers will get early access when it ships.
How do I upgrade to Pro?
Just click "Start Pro — $5/mo" and you'll be taken to a secure checkout page. Your plan upgrades the moment you pay — nothing to install or restart. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime, right from inside the app.
What happens to my data if I stop using SeatMap?
You can export your full guest list and seating assignments as a CSV at any time. Your data belongs to you — download it before you close your account and you'll have everything you need.
