How do I get started?
Sign in with Google at seatedly.app, create an event, then start adding guests. You can add guests manually or import them from a CSV spreadsheet. Drag guests from the list onto tables to assign seats.
How many guests can I add for free?
The free plan supports up to 25 guests. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited guests across unlimited events.
Can I import my guest list from Excel or Google Sheets?
Yes. Export your sheet as a CSV file, then use the "Import CSV" button in the guest list. The file should have a column for guest names — Seatedly will detect it automatically.
How do I share the seating plan with my partner or planner?
Tap the share icon in the top bar to generate a read-only link. Anyone with the link can view the plan without needing an account. You can also display the QR code on the day so guests can find their own seat.
What happens if I accidentally move a guest?
Use Ctrl+Z (or the undo button in the toolbar) to undo any assignment. You can undo and redo up to 50 steps.
How do groups and separations work?
Set a group name on guests who must sit together (e.g. a family). Seatedly warns you if the group ends up split across tables. Separations work the opposite way — mark two guests who must not sit together and a conflict indicator appears if they're at the same table.
How do I export the final plan?
Open the guest list panel and tap "Export". This downloads a CSV with every guest's name, table, group, meal choice, and RSVP status — ready to hand to your venue or caterer.

Can I use Seatedly for events other than weddings?
Absolutely. Seatedly works for any seated event — corporate dinners, birthday parties, charity galas, or school functions.
How do I delete my account or data?
Email hello@seatedly.app with the subject "Delete my account" and we will permanently remove all your data within 30 days.
